The tunnel is angled downwards; therefore the water cannot travel up the tunnel.

Can anyone tell me how he can go into a cylinder filled with water, from the bottom, without the water coming out of the hole??? This has been a question since back when I saw it live. Just saw it again and I still don’t get it.
